Hi, I’m Kayla Farris, the heart and hands behind Twenty Minutes and Then Some, where every handmade keychain carries more than just cute keys—it carries a story.

Our family has a saying: “I love you 20 minutes.” It began when my daughter, as a little girl, tried to say “I love you infinity,” but because she didn’t yet know the word infinity, she used “20 minutes”in its place.  We came to understand that 20 minutes was the longest time in the world. That sweet, innocent phrase became our way of saying, “I love you with everything I’ve got.”  It’s like loving someone infinity, but more.  Hence, our shop name: Twenty Minutes and Then Some.  

When we lost our daughter just before her high school graduation, we wanted to find a way to keep her memory alive and to keep spreading love far beyond the walls of our home.  She was life and love and vibrance.  She was bold and brave and lived life to the fullest.  If described in one word, she would be confetti!  She loved Jesus, and was chasing after Him with all her heart, touching lives everywhere she went.  We want to keep that beauty and joy and memory alive.  That’s how this little shop was born. 

Each keychain is made with care and purpose, with proceeds going to a variety of fundraisers and causes close to our heart—helping others in her honor as she did in her life.

Every piece you purchase is more than an accessory—it’s a piece of our story, a spark of love, and a small act of kindness that keeps her light shining.
